Cut Chemicals Out from your Life : 21 Health Swaps for a Healthy 2021
Hello!
Did you know that being mindful of the vessel you cook and store your food in, is as important as eating your food mindfully?
We all use nonstick pans and food grade plastics to cook, heat and store our food in.
However, these are very wrong practices and will harm us in the long run- however convenient they may seem right now. :(
Teflon coating has been considered safe now but indian cooking is done at a very high temperatures which can make cooking in such pans harmful as the chemicals leech into your food.
You're literally consuming harmful active ingredients!
Use ceramic, stainless steel or cast iron pans as much as you can.
Plastics contain BPA which can mimic estrogen like activity leading to hormonal imbalances.
Check the ingredients of your beauty products- expiration dates, ingredients and declutter the cabinet every 6 months.
Recycle, refurbish and reuse if you dont want them to go to waste.
Make sure your makeup and skincare products are as organic as possible.
You can learn how to make your own makeup as well, with natural ingredients.
I post a lot of skincare and haircare recipies on my blogs and on my instagram ,so regularly so keep watching out for those and keep scrolling down my feeds for detox waters, organic face washes, scrubs, undereye gels and masks.
Cheers,
Lovneet
