Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
If you have been following me for a while , you know that I don't believe in skipping any meal- especially breakfast.
Now we lead such hectic lives , we prefer something we can have on the go- something light and easy.
Usually we go for protein bars and granola bars or cereals with milk.
Most of them come in different flavors, have some seeds and nuts to appear healthy, energy giving and light so as to not make you feel sluggish.
That's really not what happens though.
Food marketing convinces you that these are fat free, light, and healthy--- but if you look closely at the nutrition label, youll see that most of these bars are loaded with refined sugars and hidden sodium and preservatives which may satisfy immediate hunger because of the sugars, but the energy will crash within an hour or so.
It IS a sugar rush after all and the 'light breakfast' will make you ravenous enough to pick something- anything to satisfy the crazy hunger that hits you.
The preservatives will affect your hormones as well.
For a healthy 2021, just swap this having actual , whole some breakfast options like:
