How to prepare?

Ingredients
  • Spinach                             50 g
  • Arhar Dal (soaked)           2 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste           1 tsp
  • Green chilli (chopped)  ½ tsp
  • Turmeric powder            ½ tsp
  • Salt                           According to taste
  • Water                             1 ½ cup

  • Baghar
  • Ghee                                    1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds                     ½ tsp
  • Red chilli Powder (optional)  ½ tsp
  • Coriander Powder              ½ tsp
  • Garam Masala                     1/8 tsp

Instructions
  • Pick, wash and chop the spinach finely.
  • Add the soaked dal, spinach, ginger garlic paste, green chilli, salt, turmeric powder and water in a pressure cooker.
  • Pressure cook the dal on a medium flame for 10 minutes.
  • Prepare baghar and mix in the dal.
  • Serve hot.
