Curried Green Peas

How to
prepare?
Ingredients
2 tsp ghee
¼ cup onion (minced)
1 tsp garlic (minced)
1 tsp ginger (minced)
1 tsp cumin powdered
1 tsp coriander powdered
¼ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp garam masala
¼ tsp black pepper
½ cup tomato (diced)
1 tbsp tomato puree
Salt According to taste
1 tbsp coriander leaves (chopped)
1 cup green peas
1 cup water
1 tbsp lemon juice
Cooking
Instructions
Heat oil in a pan and add onions, garlic and ginger.
Reduce heat to medium and sauté until onions are golden.
Add cumin, coriander, turmeric and black pepper.
Saute for 1 minute.
Add tomatoes and tomato puree, salt and chopped coriander leaves.
Cook well for 5 minutes.
Add peas and water.
Mix well.
Cover with lid and simmer until done about 10 minutes.
Add salt and lemon juice.
Sprinkle garam masala and coriander leaves.
Serve hot with chapatti.
