How to prepare?

Onions and beetroot
Ingredients
  • 2 tsp ghee
  • ¼ cup onion (minced)
  • 1 tsp garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp ginger (minced)
  • 1 tsp cumin powdered
  • 1 tsp coriander powdered
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup tomato (diced)
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • Salt According to taste
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves (chopped)
  • 1 cup green peas
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions
  • Heat oil in a pan and add onions, garlic and ginger.
  • Reduce heat to medium and sauté until onions are golden.
  • Add cumin, coriander, turmeric and black pepper.
  • Saute for 1 minute.
  • Add tomatoes and tomato puree, salt and chopped coriander leaves.
  • Cook well for 5 minutes.
  • Add peas and water.
  • Mix well.
  • Cover with lid and simmer until done about 10 minutes.
  • Add salt and lemon juice.
  • Sprinkle garam masala and coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with chapatti.
