Garbanzo Bean Pancake with Fruit Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Chickpea Flour
- 1 tsp Carrot (finely grated)
- 1 tsp Red bell pepper (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp Onion (finely chopped)
- ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
- ¼ tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves
- Salt According to taste
- Water Accordingly
- 1 tbsp Fruit Sauce (your choice)
- 1 tbsp Ghee
Cooking
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl add the chickpea flour and then slowly add the water.
- Whisk until smooth and set aside.
- In a frying pan, heat 1 tsp ghee.
- Cook carrot, red bell pepper, onion, turmeric and cumin seeds for 5 mins.
- Add the carrot mixture to the chickpea batter along with the chopped coriander and salt.
- Mix well.
- Heat a non stick frying pan over a medium-high heat.
- When hot add a drizzle of the ghee.
- Add a tablespoon of the batter to the pan and use the back of spoon to spread it.
- Cook from both sides until slight brown color comes up.
- Remove pancakes from the pan and pour a fruit sauce.
- Serve immediately.
