prepare?
Ingredients
1tbsp bengal gram
2 tsp urad dal
1 tsp ginger (grated)
1 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Jeera
Asafoetida a pinch
1 tsp green chillies (finely chopped)
¼ cup water
1 tbsp ghee
Cooking
Instructions
Churn all the ingredients except ghee in a grinder for idli batter.
Let batter ferment for at least six hours.
Pour water into the idli vessel and let the water boil.
Place the plate without the idli cloth.
Take small steel cups and pour 1tsp of ghee into it.
Pour the prepared idli batter.
Place the cups on the plate in the idli vessel.
Steam the idli for 20 minutes.
