How to prepare?

Onions and beetroot
Ingredients
  • 2 cups Watermelon Rind 
  • ½ tsp Mustard seeds
  • 4 Curry leaves (washed)
  • A Pinch of Asafoetida
  • 1 tbsp Coconut oil
  • ½ tsp Red chili powder
  • ½  tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • Salt According to taste
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • ½ cup Water

Instructions
  • Peel the green skin of the watermelon rind and chop the tender white rind into pieces.
  • In a pan, hot coconut oil, add Mustard and let them splutter.
  • Add a pinch of Asafoetida, curry leaves and dry whole Red Chilies.
  • Stir properly.
  • Add chopped watermelon rind,red chili powder,turmeric,coriander powder and water.
  • Mix well.
  • Cook and cover for 10 minutes at medium flame.
  • Turn off the flame
  • Add lemon Juice. Mix well.
  • Serve hot.
